To Arizona's Best!

It is hard to believe that one quarter of the 2011/2012 school year is behind us. I am hopeful this message finds everyone refreshed after the Fall break.

The Board would like to report on the success of the last conference. The numbers are continuing to climb every year and this year was our best ever. We had 197 conference attendees not counting the number of vendors that attended. Our vendor show spotlighted a wide variety of buses, bus supplies and other support products. The results of our conference evaluation showed that the conference received a 92.3% thumbs up for overall value! We received many positive comments and some great ideas for future conferences and for the website. Many thanks to all that attended and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the 2012 conference.

The site of the 2012 conference will continue to be the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff. The dates of the conference are Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 21. Rooms will be available at the Drury Hotel and at Little America. The Board plans on having more information and registration available sometime in January/February.

In addition to our annual conference, our Region Reps are busy planning region meetings for each area. Please expect more information about a regional meeting coming up. If there is anything you need or would like to share with me or the Board, please call or use our TAA email system. I check the email account regularly and I will be sure to respond to your message. We are also going to be upgrading our web site through this year. We are planning to incorporate many new features that have been suggested by the membership.
